A Winning Attitude

(2 Samuel 22:40) “You strengthened me with valor sufficient for the battle; you made those who rebelled against me fall beneath me.”

(Ephesians 3:16) “I pray that he would give you, according to his glorious riches, strength in your inner being and power through his Spirit,”

(Micah 3:8) “As for me, I am truly filled with power by the Spirit of the LORD, filled with judgment and power to announce to Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.”

(1 John 5:5) “Who overcomes the world? Is it not the person who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”

The only person standing between you and your great accomplishments through God is you. We cannot blame the devil, or our lack of resources, the government or anyone else in our lives. When Adam was confronted by God for his disobedience, he was quick to blame Eve and even God indirectly for creating her. When we stand in front of the spiritual mirror, which is God’s Word, only then can make the changes necessary to achieve the greatness God has planned for us.

We are weak, and scared, and get easily discouraged or distracted from the purpose ahead. We fill our lives with relationships and activities that drain us out. We are the ones that slumber, make excuses, and are in constant disobedience to God’s laws. And it is we who have chosen to do things separated from God instead of in partnership with Him.

God has already declared us victorious through Christ, overcomers, strong and mighty, men of valor and faithful. He has such faith in our ability to become overcomers that His plans for us are always to bless us more and more. God calls us a royal priesthood, holy, saints, the temple of the Holy Spirit, His righteousness through Christ, His workmanship created for good works…and so much more.

We need to see ourselves the way God sees us in Christ. Only then will we be able to listen to the voice of Truth, and be encouraged and strengthened to walk in our true identity. Change your attitude today. You are no longer destined to hell, no longer a child of the devil, no longer weak before sin, no longer unstable in your emotions, and definitely no longer spiritually dead.

No one can accuse you falsely, no demon can touch you, no plan of the enemy will work against you, and no one will ever again call you weak. No one can mess with you or stop you from what God has planned for you.

(“According to the law of aerodynamics, bumblebees can’t fly. Their body is too big for their wings. But nobody ever told them, so they just fly away. When God says ‘You can’, it cancels out everybody else’s ‘You cannot’. God longs to find people who will believe His promises” – Bob Gass)

Keep your head high, your shoulders straight, and walk as an heir to God’s kingdom, simply because you have chosen to follow Christ.

• Heavenly Father, Your judgments are a great deep. Your thoughts are very deep. Your greatness is unsearchable.
• Thank You, Father, that in Christ we are complete and able to accomplish all those things You have planned for us.
• Thank You that You make those who rebel against me fall.
• Forgive us for believing the lies of the devil and doubting in who we are in Christ.
• Forgive us for not using Your Word and Your Promises in every situation in our lives.
• We declare that we are truly filled with power by the Spirit of the LORD.
• We declare that we are receiving according to Your glorious riches, strength in our inner being and power through Your Spirit.
• Because we believe that Jesus is the Son of God, we will overcome the world.

• We ask in Jesus’ Mighty name. Amen
