He Appears During Worship

(Exodus 34:29) “When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, he had the two tablets in his hand, and he did not know that the skin of his face was ablaze with light because he had been speaking with God.”

(Isaiah 6:5) “‘How terrible it will be for me!’ I cried, ‘because I am ruined! I’m a man with unclean lips, and I live among a people with unclean lips! And my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of the Heavenly Armies!’”

(Psalms 22:3) “You are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.”

(Mark 1:2-3) As it is written in the prophet Isaiah, “See! I am sending my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way. He is a voice calling out in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way for the Lord! Make his paths straight!'”

Can you imagine what Moses experienced as He stood in God’s glory? He had taken in so much of God’s glory that his face gave such a bright light that they had to cover his face with a veil. Can you imagine what Isaiah felt after he confessed that he has seen the Lord of the Heavenly Armies? He was broken because He realized how he had sinned with his words. We don’t have to imagine. Jesus has already given us the glory that He received from God in order for us to have such an experience.

When we stand in His presence and His glory, we receive emotional, spiritual, and physical healing. The chains of addictions are broken and we can truly see where we have failed so that we can make changes in our lives.
When was the last time you were worshipping and broke out in tears? When was the last time you were so deep in God’s presence that hours went by and it seemed like minutes? If this all sounds foreign or a far-off memory to you, then you need to get back to a time of worship.

When we worship and praise the name of Jesus, we are actually declaring Him as our King. At that moment He is all that matters, and all our fears, shame, and insecurities fade away. It’s in the time of worship that we prepare a place of honor for Jesus both within our hearts and within the church meeting. By worshipping, we do as John the Baptist did. He prepared the way for the Lord to be received by everyone that was hungry for Him.

The worship team helps us prepare our hearts and makes the paths straight to receive the Word (Jesus). Only then are we transformed through the preaching as we have stood in His glory, been set free from the troubles of daily life, and enthroned Him in our hearts. If you have never experienced His glory, raise your hands right now, start to worship Jesus, and see the miracle happen.

When we worship, we are joining with Creation and the Angels that continually worship our Creator day and night.

• Jesus, You are Christ, our intercessor, Wonderful God, He who alone does great wonders.
• Thank You for giving us the glory of the Father.
• Thank You that when we stand in Your presence we are transformed and go from glory to glory.
• Forgive us for not seeking Your presence or desiring to experience the glory You have given us.
• Teach us how to worship You, and You alone Jesus.
• Just like Isaiah, show us where we have failed so we can repent and change.
• We surrender our hearts once again to You and as ask You to take Your place.
• As we worship build Your throne and allow us to give you all the honor and praise.
• Help us to prepare the way for Your Word to enter our hearts and transform us.
• Just like Moses, we want people to see Your glory when they see us.

• We ask in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen
