Never Never Never Quit

(Psalms 44:5) “Through you we will knock down our oppressors; through your name we will tread down those who rise up against us.”

(Galatians 6:8) “The person who sows through human means will harvest decay from human means, but the person who sows in the Spirit will harvest eternal life from the Spirit.”

God doesn’t like quitters and neither do men. He never quit on you regardless of how many times you have failed Him. Just by doing your own will, instead of God’s you have chosen to sow into corruption and into the flesh. By not consulting first with God for all things, you have chosen to serve the devil. It’s as simple as that. There is no middle ground, either you are working for God or against Him.

This is considered a failure in God’s eyes, yet He continues to bet on you and put all things in place to remind you that He loves you. He continues to stand with you in every fight, to hold the attacks of Satan, He puts people in our path that help you and guide you along the way to remind you that it’s not all over.

The moment you realize that you have made a mistake is the time to repent and continue fighting. Don’t quit, because you were stubborn, rebellious, full of pride, and just evil at heart. There is no hope for those who never try to do what is right, but God stands and fights for those that chose to walk in His ways.

Some of the greatest inventors have made some of the most ignorant mistakes. Henry Ford forgot to put a reverse gear in his first car, Walt Disney was fired from a local newspaper at the age of 22 because they said he “lacked imagination and had no good ideas”.

Abraham started as an idol worshipper and ended up being called “God’s friend”. David was a murderer, committed adultery, and lied through his teeth to hide his sins, but God declared him as “someone after God’s own heart.” Peter was hard-headed, impulsive, had a dirty mouth, denied Christ and would kill if need be, but Christ gave him the assignment to “feed His sheep”.

Only when you accept your failure as final is when finally you will be a failure.

Prayers

• Heavenly Father, You are He who forms the spirit of man within him. He who declares to man what his thought is. Lord, You render to each one according to his work.
• Thank You, Lord, for never quitting on us.
• Thank You, that we can call on You and You will stand and fight for us.
• Forgive us for doing things that were contrary to Your will.
• Forgive us for giving up at times to do what is right.
• We declare that we will see victory in every area of our lives and that it will bring glory to Your name.
• Teach us how to sow through the Spirit in order to harvest for our eternal life.
• We burn by Holy spirit fire every harvest that we has been sown through the flesh.
