Reset Timers At Jerusalem

(Isaiah 66:8) “Who ever heard of such a thing or imagined it could happen? Can a nation be born in a day or come to life in a second? Jerusalem is like a mother who gave birth to her children as soon as she was in labor.”

(Daniel 9:27) “For one week this foreigner will make a firm agreement with many people, and halfway through this week, he will end all sacrifices and offerings. Then the ‘Horrible Thing’ that causes destruction will be put there. And it will stay there until the time God has decided to destroy this one who destroys.”

(1 Thessalonians 5:3) “When people say, ‘There is peace and security,’ destruction will strike them as suddenly as labor pains come to a pregnant woman, and they will not be able to escape.”

God has a clock and a timer set for when Jesus will return and all the events leading to that time are set around Jerusalem. If we look at Biblical history, we see that God only focuses on the Hebrew people and how He interacts with them. They are the ones who received God’s commandments and are given the Ark of the Covenant. It is the Jewish (Hebrew) people that are called God’s chosen. And it is through their traditions and teachings that the Gentiles (Non-Jews) have a chance to be saved. Of course, all this changed once Jesus appears and is rejected by the Jews, after which God opens up the doors for anyone who will accept Christ.

If we keep a close lookout for all the political, military, and religious activity in Jerusalem we can see all things falling into place that point to Christ’s imminent return.

In 1948 something happened that put all prophecies into perspective and made them something that could be interpreted literally instead of symbolically. In one day a prophecy was fulfilled that no one ever thought possible. Israel was announced as an independent state for the first time in 2000 years after British rule in Palestine had come to an end. It was now officially the home of the Jews, and surrounding Arab nations declared war against Israel.

But God has been faithful and kept that nation flourishing as it is in the city of Jerusalem where Christ will step on and establish His reign.

Some things to look out for are: when the temple of Solomon will be rebuilt, when Jews and Arabs will come into agreement to worship together,  when the political leaders of Israel will proclaim the words “peace and security”, when there will be the need for a one-world government, one world currency and one world religion (tolerance).

If you want to dig a little deeper in this matter, take time to read Daniel 7-9, Matthew 24,25, and Revelation 12,13, 19.

The Pandemic of 2020 was only a test drive of what will eventually happen when the Antichrist rises and Christians will be persecuted. So stay vigilant and continue to pray for Israel.

Prayers

• Lord, You are the desire of every nation, O God, to You belong all nations, The Most High who divided their inheritance of the nations.
• Thank You that You are in control of all things and You are the one that raises up and brings down nations.
• Thank You that we can rest assured that nothing happens without You allowing it.
• We bless Jerusalem right now and ask that You continue to protect it and use Your chosen people to fulfill every prophecy.
• We ask that you open our spiritual eyes and teach us how to see what is happening in the world and understand Your divine plans.
• Make us vigilant to the times we are living in and show us how to reach out to the Lost.
• We ask that we will be ready for Christ to return and live our lives in expectation.

• We ask in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen
