(John 17:18) “As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.”
(Philippians 2:7-10) “But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;”
(John 3:16) “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
The plan for Christ to come as a man into the world was originated by God in order to save us from damnation into hell forever. By doing this, He showed His love for the whole world. And anyone who accepted Christ as their only Lord would benefit from the forgiveness of sins. God showed us that as a judge, He kept the law by pouring all the wrath we deserved for our rebellion upon Jesus.
Jesus humbled Himself and suffered in the flesh to show us that no matter what happens to us, God is in control and that our end is glorious when we obey God. Even though Jesus was here as a man, He was empowered by God, protected by God, given the Spirit and authority of God, given disciples chosen by God, allowed to be captured in God’s timing, delivered from imminent death by God, given the wisdom of God to answer His opponents, and He had the fullness of God and God’s glory evident upon Him.
God sent Jesus into the world, and Jesus has sent us into the world. Therefore we can expect that just as God took care of all the details, and provided physically and spiritually for Jesus through the Holy Spirit, He is doing the same for us.
We are not alone through any trial. We are empowered to do all things through Christ; Christ is our shield and the Rock of our salvation; when we ask in the name of Jesus, it is done; when we mention the name of Jesus, every demonic knee of oppression or sickness or lack has to bow down; all our needs are provided for in the Messiah; Christ gave to us the keys of death; He raises up destiny helpers to make sure we fulfil our mission; Christ equips us with talents and Spiritual gifts for ministry work; and above all, He fills us with His love to have a deep desire to reach out to the Lost.
All things will work out for our good as long as we love God and decide to walk in His chosen path. If you have been called to do God’s work, you are under His responsibility, and He will not fail you.
