Your Time Will Also Come

(Psalms 126:6) “The one who goes out weeping, carrying a bag of seeds, will surely return with a joyful song, bearing sheaves from his harvest.”

(Jeremiah 29:11) “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for well-being, and not for calamity, in order to give you a future and a hope.”

It’s always hard to see others get promoted or prosper when you have to be satisfied with where you are in life. This is a dangerous place to be as it can bring you to feel jealousy. Even worse, you can become envious and feel that if you can’t have it then no one should. What we fail to understand is that we have no idea what sacrifices, sleepless nights, or hard decisions they have had to make in order to receive from God.

This jealousy is also seen when we see someone who came after us to Christ, grow faster, get more anointing and carry more responsibility than us in the church. If you ask anyone who has grown in the Lord and is being used by Him how he got to where he is, he will show you the physical and emotional scars that come with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. I still have to meet a highly anointed person who has not suffered some kind of serious illness, prematurely lost a loved one, or has not experienced betrayal from his closest friends.

People can hold your hand when you pray, but they cannot repent for you. They can cry with you, but they cannot shed tears for you. They can point the way, but you have to walk the path. They can show you the door but you will have to give up what weighs you down if you want to walk through that door. They can teach you what to say, but you will have to declare it by faith if you want the demons to flee.

Don’t worry, how long it takes. Jesus will not let you down, nor will He fail you. However, once you have started to reap the fruits of your labor, stop crying, stop feeling sorry for yourself, and start to boast of all the great things God has done for you. Many get so used to being humble, that they forget to publically give glory to God for all the great things He has done and will continue to do.

Those who have patiently sown with tears will reap with joy. Don’t be scared to sacrifice that which Jesus is asking for. The reward is far more exceeding than what you can imagine.

Jesus wants to build something great through you and It takes time to lay down a strong foundation.

• Heavenly Father, You are the Lord who knows the days of the upright. For those who walk upright, You do good things. You are the Lord who lifts the humble.
• Thank You for having a plan for us that is beyond our imagination.
• Thank You that Your timing is perfect and that every tear of ours is accounted for.
• Thank You that we do not work or suffer in vain, but that in the appointed time we will be overcome with joy, abundant harvest, and a testimony for your glory.
• Forgive us for comparing ourselves with others that prosper.
• Forgive us if we have felt jealousy or envy of any brother or sister in the Lord.
• Give us the patience to wait on Your promises and your timing.
• Help us to rejoice with those you prosper, anoint and promote in the ministry.

• We ask in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen
