Give What You Have

(John 15:4) “Abide in me, and I will abide in you. Just as the branch cannot produce fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me.”

(John 15:16) “You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you. I have appointed you to go and produce fruit that will last, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you.”

(Galatians 5:22-23) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things.”

I will never believe a man or woman that says they have nothing to give. Don’t ever say you have nothing to give, rather, be honest and say you do not want to give or cannot give at that very moment for whatever reason. If you constantly confess and see yourself as unable to give, you will live and die that way. Change in your personal situation will only begin when you start to see yourself as someone that can give, no matter how small the amount or gesture.

Right now, your mind is automatically focusing on material or financial things. But we are so much more than our physical possessions or financial status. We have time, companionship, talents, and of course a smile. Even if you are a vegetable and unable to talk or move, you can still pray and fight in the spiritual accomplishing more than any Billionaire or world leader.

This mindset of not being valuable if we cannot produce in the natural or contribute to society is not Biblical. It only encourages those in depression due to a terminal illness or those that are paralyzed to receive a premature death through medicine. This is the plan of the devil and many countries have legalized this practice.

According to Galatians 5, the moment we receive Christ in our hearts, we have the following characteristics given to us by God: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. This we can give freely and in abundance to all around us. These things are more valuable than gold or silver.

Because it is God who gives these fruits to us to share,… there is no law or Judgement against using them, and there is no end to how much we can give. The fruits we produce by using these attributes are eternal and we will see the true abundance of the harvest in heaven.

If all you can do is give then give, if you can encourage, then encourage, if all you can do is pray, then pray. One of your silent prayers in the name of Jesus can make 1000 demons flee.

Prayers

• Heavenly Father, You forgave the iniquity of my sin. You have cast all my sins behind Your back. You are He who said, “I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.”
• Thank You for washing away our sins through the blood of Jesus.
• You are the life-giving vine and we are the branches. Help us to stay grafted in You and never to consider doing anything on our own.
• Thank You Jesus for having chosen us to be saved and produce much fruit. We declare right now that we will produce in abundance for the glory of Your name.
• We receive today once again the Fruits of the Holy Spirit.
• We declare that we will produce in abundance the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
• Let everyone around us, see from this day forth, that we are chosen disciples of Jesus Christ because of the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

• We ask in Jesus’ name. Amen
