Having Problems?

(Acts 20:21-24) “I testified to both Jews and Greeks about repentance to God and faith in our Lord Jesus. ‘And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am on my way to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there, except that in town after town the Holy Spirit assures me that imprisonment and suffering are waiting for me.’”

“But I don’t place any value on my life, if only I can finish my race and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.”

(2 Corinthians 4:8-9) “In every way we’re troubled but not crushed, frustrated but not in despair,
persecuted but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed.”

How is it that a problem you are facing might seem like a mountain in front of you, while to others it’s just a simple hill? Or what others mention to you as a Giant that constantly torments them, just seems like a midget to you? It’s very simple, all is based on personal perspective and the amount of fear for loss in your life.

The moment we change our focus from earthly things to the eternal glory God has prepared for us, everything will fall into place. The moment we realize that we are part of a greater plan and a divine purpose, we will be able to take each day at a time and not lose hope.

Just like Apostle Paul, we are informed that walking with God entails facing suffering, hatred by mankind, rejection, and opposition from the powers of darkness. But at the same time, He assures us victory over every situation, a glory and a reward that comes directly from Him, and supernatural peace that goes beyond our understanding. He is the one that will make us soar like eagles over the mountains and He is the one that will cut the head of every giant that arises against His people.

Christ promises that we will be hated because of Him. This is normal, as when you start to live for Jesus, you are like a fish going upriver against the flow. It’s hard, and everyone thinks you’re are crazy and going the wrong way. Your only strength is to know that at the bottom of the river is a large net cast by Satan waiting to catch all those that have taken it easy and gone with the flow.

There is a song that says “He never said there’d always be sunshine, He never said there’d be no rain. He only promised a heart full of singing, at the very things that once brought pain.”

If you have been promised only good times, prosperity, health, fame, and a life with no opposition in the world, then you have been sold the wrong Gospel.

• Heavenly Father, You have delivered my soul from death. Lord, You made me bold with strength in my soul. You have pleaded the case of my soul.
• Father, We thank you for another day of victory planned for us. We stand firm on your promises and declare that you are true to Your Word.
• Forgive us for not having the faith needed to face our problems and for doubting if you even cared.
• We reject right now the spirit of negativity, the spirit of depression, the spirit of fear, the spirit of abandonment, and the spirit of doubt on Your promises.
• Allow us today to enter Your place of rest, where we can once again surrender under Your mighty hand, and we ask for a miraculous sign of favor today in Jesus’ name.
• We declare that we are pressed but not crushed, persecuted but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed. We are blessed beyond the curse, and your promise will endure, and your joy is our strength.
• Thought the sorrow may last for the night, the Joy will come in the morning.

• We ask You in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen
