You’ve got to see it

(Hebrews 11:24-25) “By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called a son of Pharaoh’s daughter, because he preferred being mistreated with God’s people to enjoying the pleasures of sin for a short time.”

(Genesis 13:14-15) “After Lot had separated from Abram, the LORD told Abram, ‘Look off to the north, south, east, and west from where you’re living, because I’m going to give you and your descendants all of the land that you see—forever!'”

(Ephesians 3:20-21) “Now to the one who can do infinitely more than all we can ask or imagine according to the power that is working among us— to him be glory in the church and in the Messiah Jesus to all generations, forever and ever! Amen.”

God is waiting for you to see yourself the way He sees you. To see all that you can be and achieve through Him. He wants to show you all the great works He has prepared for you to do. He wants to show you the victory He has won for you over sin through the death of Christ on the cross.

But you have to first stop looking at your current situation, your current limitations, your current struggles, your failures, your sin, and your lack. Only then, will you be able, by faith to look ahead to the great things He is about to do for you and through you.

Only when you truly experience and see what God has prepared for you, will you leave the filth and sin you are attached to. Only when you truly experience the beauty of God’s light, will you see the darkness you have chosen to live in.

Moses chose to leave the pleasures and comfort of the palace and live being mistreated as one of God’s chosen children. He truly understood that the pleasures of sin had no comparison with the presence of God. But He did this by faith because He saw that the small things of God were far better and greater than all the glory of Egypt.

Only after Abram separated from his cousin Lot, did God show Abram the great plan He had in mind for him. If you read ahead, you will see how Lot ended up destroying his own future by not avoiding those that lived a life separated from God.

You’ve got to see beyond what you can see and ask beyond what you think you can handle… and watch how your life enters into the victory that God gave us through the work of Jesus on the Cross.

Prayers

• Heavenly Father, in famine, You shall redeem me from death. You have brought my soul up from the grave. You have delivered my soul from the depths of sheol.
• Father, we are oh so grateful for having chosen us and taken us from the darkness into your light.
• Forgive us for having loved the darkness and the pleasures and sins of the world for so long, instead of desiring what You want for us.
• If there is anything in our lives today that is stopping us from seeing what you want us to see… we command Holy Ghost fire to consume it in Jesus’ name.
• We accept what you have chosen for us to receive as an inheritance.
• We ask You right now to give us more than we can ask or imagine according to the power that is working among us in Jesus’ mighty name. Let us not limit you by fear, or feelings of inadequacy.
• Let all we say, do, and have bring glory to your name for all those that have doubted that you care for us and will take care of all our needs.

• We ask You in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen
