Purpose Behind Pain

(Hebrews 5:8) “Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;”

(Romans 5:3-5) “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

How can two people have completely different outlooks in an identical situation? How can one be at complete peace, while the other can’t even get a good night’s rest? They both carry the exact same amount of responsibility and workload, but one has a long face all day, while the other simply carries a radiant smile.

It all depends on what you want to make of your current situation. You can either let it control you and your emotions, or you can see what God has purposed for you to learn or do through it. You can either, submit to the current situation and believe you are paying for your Bad Karma, or you can take control by your God-given freedom in Christ and ask Him to command the day into place. It’s simply your choice.

Don’t let the current situation dictate your life, but see how God wants to use you in your current situation to change someone else’s life around you. Some of the difficulties you are so afraid to face in life are exactly what God needs you to go through in order to prepare you for the next phase in your life.

Every trial in our life that God allows has a purpose. We go from trial to patience, and from there to an experience, which will prove to us that we can completely have hope for a brighter future with God.
God sees every challenge in your life as a training day for your spiritual growth. Learn to see it that way as well.

Remember, a smile, a good word of encouragement, a “like” or positive comment on social media goes a long way. Who knows, maybe your positive attitude will force others to check their own negative outlook in the current situation and find hope within the storm.

Claim that promise today that “Hope in Christ does not bring shame”.

• Heavenly Father, You have granted me life and favour and Your care has preserved my spirit. Your care preserves my soul. Your care preserves my body.
• Father, thank you for showing us today once more that you are aware of our situation. That you care, that you love us, that you are walking with us through the current storm.
• We thank you that you took away all our sins through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross and that we do not have to pay for them anymore.
• Thank you that we can now make the most out of every situation and be used by you to bring hope to others.
• Forgive us for having a negative attitude towards any problems we are facing and teach us how to confess your Word over every situation.
• We want to be light and salt to the World, just as your Word says we are.
• We reject all spirits of depression, self-pity, lack of faith and hopelessness, and we put on the armor of God to face our day. We declare we are victorious in Christ Jesus and that we can do all things through Him.

• We ask You in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen
