What R U Waiting 4?

(Matthew 6:34) “So never worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

(James 2:17-18) “In the same way, faith by itself, if it does not prove itself with actions, is dead. But someone may say, ‘You have faith, and I have actions.’ Show me your faith without any actions, and I will show you my faith by my actions.”

We can waste our whole life making plans and worrying about tomorrow and miss out on the simple tasks God has prepared for us for today. We want to make sure that all things are favorable before we decide to start any project. We want to first have financial stability, complete understanding, have everything and everyone under our control, and the approval of others, and then we might start those great projects that will change our lives and that of others.

If you don’t take any action to fulfil your dreams, it’s because you really don’t believe in them. Those who only dream and delay taking action, usually end up working for those who have taken a step of faith.

You don’t need to be a pastor to bring someone to Christ, or to pray for anyone’s healing, or to preach in the streets, or to start a home prayer group, or simply to invite souls to a church meeting. You don’t need to have millions to feed the poor, or to give away things to charity, or to support a ministry. You don’t need to have a degree in order to post words of truth on social media, or write that book you carry within your heart. And most definitely you don’t have to first be a saint or perfect in order to follow Christ.

Here is a short poem to make you consider what you have accomplished so far in life:

“You say you’ll do much in the years to come, but what have you done today?

You plan to give wealth in a princely sum, but how much have you given today?

You’ll heal broken hearts and dry every tear, bring to them hope and take away fear;

Carry His Word to those far and near; but what have you done today?

You say you’ll be kind after a while, but what have you done today?

The lonely and hurting wait for your smile, you promised to light up their way;

Your aim is to give truth a grander birth and to steadfast faith a deeper worth,

To carry His love to the ends of the earth, but what have you done today?

You plan to reap much in the by and by, but what have you sown today?

You plan to build mansions up in the sky, but what have you built today?

It’s nice to dream and in visions bask, but here and now have you done your task?” (Bob Gass)

By waiting for the perfect moment, or the perfect plan, or the perfect person, you will only achieve perfect regret.

• Heavenly Father, Thank You for the wondrous things from Your Law. Lord, You have caused me to hope upon Your Word. Your Word gives me life.
• Thank You, Father, that you have provided all things for us to accomplish Your good Works.
• Thank You, that we can step forward knowing You love us.
• Forgive us for being stagnant, for not stepping out because of fear, and for losing time.
• We declare that we will stop daydreaming and we will start to make changes to make those dreams come true.
• Forgive us for only talking and declaring what we will do, instead of actually doing it.
• We cancel any spirit of the fear of failure or what others will say.
• We declare that today we will start taking baby steps toward the dream You have put in our hearts.

• We ask in Jesus’ Mighty name. Amen
