When God Visits You

(Luke 1:34-38) “Mary asked the angel, ‘How can this happen? I am not married!’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come down to you, and God’s power will come over you. So your child will be called the holy Son of God.’

‘Your relative Elizabeth is also going to have a son, even though she is old. No one thought she could ever have a baby, but in three months she will have a son. Nothing is impossible for God!’ Mary said, ‘I am the Lord’s servant! Let it happen as you have said.’ And the angel left her.”

(vs 41) And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:

God knows how to shut everyone’s mouth and also how to keep it open in amazement. When God visits you, He does something that goes against the laws of nature (supernatural), laws of science (a miracle), and the laws of time and seasons (divine provision). He goes beyond the impossible and turns our mess into a testimony for His glory. He can do this through His Word, through an angel, through someone else acting on His behalf or personally. Get ready or you will miss out.

According to nature, Elizabeth, Mary’s cousin, was barren and could not have children. According to science, Mary was a virgin and therefore, could not be pregnant. According to the times and seasons of men, Elizabeth was too old and Mary was too young to bear children. But when God visited them both, they each gave birth to a miracle.

Elizabeth gave birth to John the Baptist who made the way for Christ to show Himself as the Messiah. John was the one preparing the hearts of those who needed first to repent and then follow Christ. This is the timing God has established for everyone to experience Heaven, first repentance, and then adoption into God’s family.

Personally, I believe God first did the miracle of Elizabeth to encourage Mary and assure her that God can actually bring life from an impossible situation. And notice how John the Baptist leaped inside Elizabeth’s womb when Mary came to visit them. He recognized who had come, It was Jesus, the savior of the world. Those who are of God recognize what He is doing, others just go around daily wondering what is happening around them.

Immediately, Elizabeth was baptized with the Holy Ghost. I don’t know what manifestations took place in that meeting, but something supernatural definitely must have happened.

When you recognize who is visiting you today, You too will start to experience the supernatural. The Holy Spirit will plant a seed inside you, then nurture it, and finally, you will give birth to God’s miracle for you.
